Who's gonna win the battle of the consoles?

It's that time again..another generation of consoles has once again been unleashed to many countries now...so even though it's early days..who do you think is going to win? and why?
I really think it is going to be Xbox. Microsoft seems to do very well in every market they jump into. Xbox 360 has the best of everything right now...and always has had the best in online playing. But PS3 and wii also have good chance, as they are being backed by people with deep pockets.

not sure how deep sony's pockets are right now. but wii has been making profit from day 1 on each console that they are selling. so nintendo's pockets are getting deeper and deeper. microsoft always has deep pockets with billions of dollars to spend every year. the biggest loser is no doubt sony at the moment.

Hehe. Agreed. Sony may be profitable, but Microsoft and Nintendo are worth a whole lot more. Microsoft can take the chance and do things like this because they're pockets are pretty much bottomless. Nintendo has a reputation for succeeding easily. The only mistakes I think they ever made were the Virtual Boy, and making the N64 cartridge based. Don't get me wrong though, I love my N64. And If I am not mistaken, the N64 was one of the fastest selling consoles ever.

They have made few mistakes in their gaming life, and have almost always seemed to give their fans exactly what they want. Nintendo will remain King, while Microsoft will be a close second. Sony will just keep falling behind.

Wii just went past Xbox 360 in total sales. And they are still selling out. So my money is on Wii to be the best.

I actually just bought a Wii not long ago. The wii definently outsold all the other consoles because of its sensor bar and the way you interact with your console. I like the wii because of the family capabilities it has. I mean, my grandpa or my son could play it. How cool is that?

Wii is definently by far the best, for me.

From what the market analysis, Wii beat all console in sales volume. Follow by XBox360 and PS3.
Some rumor saying that PS3 will go down the price, a price war will start soon. Hope a consumer like me can gain some benefit of it.

There were two things which had very bad effect on PS3. One is delayed release and other is its price. I think it shouldn't be happened. Meanwhile we heard a lot of rumors about its performance and control's error. Although it is very good console but someone will has to has a lot of money to purchase it and it's blue-ray discs for games.

i think nintendo might of pulled it of this time with the wii as it ad new angle to the game play so you play the person and the game play is more fun but then on the downside xbox have to just released the 360 elite witch is bigger and better than normal 360 i think the only thing that lets the ps3 down at moment is the price

It's gotta be Nintendo they beat everyone on the consoles last year with a much more inventive and cheaper console than Sony and Microsoft. They always seem to be so much more imaginative i know that the graphics aren't as good but personally i would rather be able to interact than have better graphics. They even came up with a better concept for the handheld system with the DS compared to the PSP which seemed to flop!

This is really a very interesting ask . I have no hesitation to say that Microsoft is going to lead the other companies . Microsoft is really doing wonders in the internet world .

As I have given my reviews but that was just launching period of PS3. I am wondered to see the PS3 in real and its functionality and features. I think worths what its costs and I shall be going with it. I have played some games on my friend's console, it is an ultimate fun and joy to own it. You can consume your time in a better way with full of excitement.

Your statement Xbos is too late wondered me because it is in the market a lot more time ago as compared to PS3. PS3 was delay a lot and that was the reason of XBOX and wii sales. PS3 is the cool console but it has a lot more errors and bad repute before its launch. I think PS3 has some of best games on this planet.
