Should Polygamy be Legalized?

Religion plays a huge role as to why monogamy is encouraged in majority of today's society and why polygamy isn't.  However, as we become more open to ideas, more and more people decide to be atheists and people don't really care much about religion and its teachings anymore.  Should polygamy finally be legalized in countries where it's not? Where Muslim men are allowed to have more than one wife, should it also be time for Muslim women to marry more than one men if that's what they want?

Many of the religious people I know are the ones doing things AGAINST the teachings of the Bible, so that's probably the very first thing that made me stop going to church.  Many married people cheat on each other and you see non-religious couples being faithful to one another.  Should polygamy be legalized? Sure, why not.  If today's people are not happy with just one, they should be allowed to have more than one.

I think we almost there. We have lot of relations with other women and men, even men to men, and women to women. Our world already has been changed to Polygamy, Only thing missing is to declare those relations. I am definitely against to this but I am sad to see it everywhere around me.

Yes it has become routine practice.This is creating problems.It is a wrong practice .We must educate people not to indulge in this wrong and immoral practice.It should not be legalize .

Any thing which goes against the nature is wrong. it must be avoided.Though unnatural activities are going on every where yet such activities must be sloped.In the end i will say there is no place for polygamy in the socirty .

If the polygamy is to be legalized no problem .The government must consult more with the Doctors and scientist than politicians because the after affects of polygamy can be dealt accordingly.

If the majority of the people of any society want that the polygamy should be allowed and legalized then there is no harm in it.If a woman is not satisfied with his husband she should be allowed to have few more men to satisfy and if a man is not satisfied with a woman so called wife he can have more legally.

The matters related to the religious  teachings can not be re decide by the people . We just have to follow the teachings and the principles of the religion .Religiously speaking,polygamy is not allowed so we can not decide against it .

It is a difficult ask  but I think if polgamy is been legalized It will be ok . Most of the people love to have sex with more than one person . We can see it in every society in the world . By legalizing the polygamy the new born baby will surely get the name of his/her father leagally .

Does it mean that polygamy is in human instincts and human nature or we have this instinct naturally? I have seen many episodes on reality T.V where men and women caught in relation with others. I think it will be good to give it some legal status.
