What are your opinions on hate crime laws? Do you think it's always fair? My personal opinion is this: people - esp. minorities are constantly abusing the fact that they have the upperhand because the law was implemented to protect minorities.  I feel, if a dark-skinned individual for any reason picks a fight with a white guy - the white guy has every right to defend himself.  It's not fair in this case, to say that the white guy is fighting back because he's racist.

I think there must be no different rules for the people belonging to different races .They must be treated equally if they indulge in any sort of crime.

I think the law of any country should be equal for all citizen .There should be no minor or major in front of the law.There must be no difference due to religion and race.

In my opinion the law of a country must be equal for the citizens.There should be no difference between rich and poor ,black and white in front of the law.

Where as i think the law of the country should be based on principals.all are  equal.There should be No hate crime laws..The governments should provide justice for all.

My opinion  on hate crime laws is that it is not fair.In the law of any country there must be equality for every one.A punishment should be given to criminal.color and  regardless of race .color and language.

even democratic countries like australia, india, US, england, etc have separate laws for different minority groups which is against the very foundation of democracy where everyone is equal, and dont even get me started on communist nations.

Yes you are right this is there dual nature that they have hate crime laws .These countries are known as most democratic and civilized countries .I am against such laws .There must be equality for every group of the society .

I completely agree with you. Law should be equal for everyone and everyone should be treated same. This is a definition of democracy unless you like in North korea or places where law can be changed to suit leaders

This a fact that minorities always want to have some special treatment in the implementation of law.I do not believe in this .I think the law must be equal for all the citizens.Crime is acrimeand the law must be blind for all.Every kind of a person must be treated equally.
