People are fighting with each other for their religion and saying our religion is best.My perception is Either to Beleive "GOD IS ONE"" or become ""ATHEIST"".So that no more fight for religion exist in this world.

To be an atheist is not a reality. Why to be an atheist if we have strong history. I think in this modern world we need reasons to happen something so why to believe that our world is orphan? I believe in one GOD and there is no way other than it.

every religion preaches that there is one god or supreme being. it is the humans who misinterpret that message and try to make money out of it.

Why is it not a reality for people to believe there is no god?  It's a valid belief as yours IMO.   Personally I have seen no proof in any "one god" that is the creator of the earth and all that are on it.

I find it unfortunate the people need to have a god and the threat of everlasting punishment to become good people.

Actually there are many religions that preach more than one god.   Shocked

I can see where your coming from but i think that people have been brought up with their own religion and if stripped down yes they are incredibly similar and believe in the same basic fundamentals but when you add everything else on it complicates the matter and makes everyone elses religion slightly different from the other thus resulting in conflict.

How do you explain those who are Wiccan, or Native Americans?  Neither believe in "one god" of any sort.

I think that instead of fighting or arguing about the existence of God, it's better for everyone to keep an open mind and simply respect each and everyone's individual beliefs.  If we can achieve that, this world will be a better place.  If God really exists, do you think He would want us to be fighting over something so silly? And if God doesn't exist, what are we fighting about? So yeah, I think it's best we respect believers and respect atheists.

I am baffled why others would want other people to join their religion. Even to the point of forcing them to join on pain of death. Can anyone explain the reasoning behind that?

many religions believe the path to salvation is bringing others into their fold. This is the insidious part of religions.

Hahah, I totally agree with you! When there's a religion & politics board on any forum, expect it to be HOT. Grin Although I don't really know why people argue over things that shouldn't have an answer to them.  Worst of all, I'm on of those who constantly find myself in such debating boards. Grin

I think nobody should be forced to join or not to join a religion. Our thoughts and beliefs are much important and no one can change these forcefully. More often people change religion due to some major incident or something like that. Only good thoughts and beliefs can change other people.
