If you were a patient and you were in terrible pain and you were dying, do you feel the doctors should have the right to put you to sleep if it was what you wanted?
Likewise, if you were a doctor and one of your dying patients wanted to die already, do you feel they should have the rights to decide their own fate?
What are your thoughts on euthanasia?

Absolutely you should be able to choose when and how you want to die. It's insane to me that we can put cats and dogs to sleep to prevent them from pain but we can't do that to humans.

I also think it should be alright, esp. if I was the one dying. The argument against euthanasia is not silly though, I don't think you can even compare it with vets putting pets to sleep.  The reason why it's not simple is because when a doctor puts a patient to sleep, this action by definition is murder (premeditated killing) - which is against the law & against the Bible's teachings. |

I believe in death and life in different way so I shall say that we should bear or tolerate the pain. That will not be the right thing and no one should decide that someone is going to dead or not. This is something stupid.

You do have a point there Joe, but some people belief that no one owns your life but yourself. That's why euthanasia isn't really that silly. Sure, the doctors are the one who kills you - but they're only doing it as per the instruction of the patient, who is probably too weak to kill himself.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I'm pro euthanasia (nor am I against it), I'm just saying it's not something silly but something very real & serious.

Yes i agreed with you life is so precious that we must bare the pain and let the doctor try his best to save a human being .It should not be allowed to decide for death. |

I think doctor should not be allowed to put the patient in the deep sleep .This law can be used wrongly and there is a chance that the doctor should become a killer.I am completely against it. |

If a patient is facing a terrible disease and the doctors are not able to remove his disease,then yes he must be allowed to take his own life.I will support that ill person. |

I think every one should have the right to live and die ,In my opinion euthanasia must be legalized. Patient who can not be cured and in a great pain .the doctor and his patient should have the right to decide there own fate .. |

I am sure of that the job of a Doctor is to save the life of a patien in any condition.So how it can be possible that a doctor should be allowed legally to KILL a patient.It looks unnatural and inhuman.I will never vote in favor of Euthanasia.

I will never vote in favor of Euthanasia .We came in to existence with out any of our struggle and die with out our wish ,except few cases of committing the suicide .I believe that we must not be allowed to kill ourselves.

I will surly vote in favor of ethunasia.If a patient is ina great pain and in a very serious condition then he should be allowed to get rid of it .At the same time if a doctor believe that there is no chance of saving the life of the patienthe should be allowed to inject the patient to deatgh.

If I were a doctor and any of my patient is in terrible pain and I see no chance of his recovery . I would rather like to save her life till the last moment instead of putting my patient in eternal sleep .If I were in a great pain I would cry for my life rather than saying the Doctor to inject me to death .
