I have been a fan of the books for so many years now and they blew me away. The cast looks brilliant except Nicole Kidman wasn't really who i was expecting for Mrs Coulter but oh well they have made it into a film so i don't care!!!!!!
The effects look mind blowing and it looks like they have not cut corners on anything.
For those of you a bit confused with the title change her is a brief explanation:
Apparently the reason for the name change is because he sent it off to the American publishers with the name The Golden Compass and never heard back from them. So he decided to change the name to Northen Lights before he sent it off to British publishers thinking that was what the problem was. He then got published over here and shortly after the Americans published it with the title he sent them.
All a result of poor communication!!!!!
