yeah, it's not that great yet for gaming purposes, i installed it recently on my machine and it's just slow, not to mention the gui hogging down my memory and all freeze-frames that result.

I have noticed that all of you have very bad reviews about Vista. I shall ask that how many of you have Vista as your operating systems? I think it will take time for people to adopt Vista as their new operating systems. We are using XP or 98, ever you think why? I have a answer, "because these OS can run on low resources systems". If we want to have Mac or Sun then we have to have high specification systems. I think there is nothing wrong with Vista, problem is in our minds.

I don't see what's wrong with Window Vista, this is a great operating system. I can play most of the games that i play on my Window XP before.

I don't think Vista is bad for games. I have laptop with 2gb Ram, 120 GB hdd, T5200 duo processor. And all games, what I played working good.

It will take some time for people to get familiar with Vista interface and technology. I am not worried about it  because Vista is much better than older versions. I think there are many games on Vista which can't be played on older version. If we shall look in this perspective then we shall haven't any problem.

Honestly if you want to play games stick to xp because all ive had is a bunch of problems with vista. Nothing works. I mean nothing. Every game that I have bought crashes or cant install. If you want to continue gaming stay with xp. Vista= crap. I am moving back to xp.

Thanks for very informative post. It is really a very useful tip specially for newbie .Vista always create problem in playing games on computer . XP is the best choice to enjoy video games on computer .
