iPhone, Zune Phone and Google's gPhone

This is going to be very very interesting. Microsoft is keeping mum on its plans to turn Zune into a smart phone - they already have an operating system for phones. Google's gPhone has been in the news for quite some time now. More competition for Apple's iPhone and the smart phone market begins to look more competitive. Is this going to be good for consumers?

The more competitor in this market, the price of the cellphone definately will drop.
Besides, consumers will get better service too.

Yes, I agree with you too. We will have gPhone and other Zune, so iPhone will have to drop iPhone's price.

I think it really will benefit the individuals who want to buy such gadgets but there's a disadvantage on a more social standpoint. Like, it's really cool to have one of the best phones around and when you go hangout in public and everyone sees you with an iphone they're like "wow, that person's got cash, they spent $500 on the latest; most popular phone!"

On the same note, if all the competitors really have to drop their prices, then everyone will have a great phone worth $100 and not a lot can be said on the fashion sector.  What I mean is this: I like buying a great phone with great functionality...but I also buy a phone that looks good and a phone that most people around me want - if they could afford it.

hi sizzle, the more competition there is the cheaper your good looking phones will be. look at the PS3 for example. They have dropped its price but it still is the same thing. so did xbox 360. on the other hand look at windows vista. with not much competition, microsoft is ripping people off, did you know that a full version of vista ultimate costs almost $500.

Zune has a phone? I thin it is not because it is just a portable media player like iPod. I am wondering to read about Google's Gphone andd I am excited to see it.

WOW! that is latest information for me, I could;t know that girls like Apple stuff. Anyhow iPhone is the most remarkable gadget I have ever seen. I think Apple is going to lead on this stuff.

apple always makes the coolest designed products and i am not too sure if girls only like apple products otherwise every man would be buying apple products only and also apple would be a far more competitive company.
