Blogs are probably better for earning money, especially with the popularity of them today.  But personally I prefer forums, which I think are better at fostering a community feel.

I think all of us have assumed that it is very easy to earn money by blogs and forums but that is not an easy job. Anyhow blogs are much better to earn as compared to forums.

not sure, i think forums can build traffic much more quickly than blogs and provide more opportunities to discuss common topics. so i think forums are better at earning money using an ad-based revenue model.

it all depend's on the setup if it's a big forum with many member's then you could make abit of it but you better of with a blog as it a lot easier

There are many ways to earn money from blogs and forums. I h ave heard that forums are not good if someone will like to earn money via Google ads because ads are not payed highly. Someone should have a blog to earn money from Adsense. On the other hand you can increase your PR to earn money by placing banners and referral buttons.

blogs are the safer option, i guess, u can always register with a secure e-mail address and post heaps of contents and display ads, where u get tons of revenue on views and clicks.

What you meant for secure email and what is benefit of this? I know about usernames and passwords on wordpress or other blog softwares but how can we earn more by these?

I've tried both and to be honest I've been more successful with the forum bit, esp. due to easy page impressions.  Blogs hosted on blogger might do a lot better at the beginning if we're talking about ad revenues unless you're pretty good with SEO.

Try forums. It's easier to get some help I think. But, blogs are more secure than forums. I don't think, try both and then post here

I personally experienced that in the start of earning money on line forums are the best and easy .With the passage of time when one gets experience the blogs are best to earn money on line .

i have a blog and i make a little extra money here and there. i would think that forums would require a lot more maintenance than blogs.

I feel that  as a starter forum posting is preferable for earning the money on line.Forum posting helps to make the content.There is not a lot to write and on blogs we have to right more lines.So I think forum posting is right in the beginning.
