I finally saw it today.  Was it me or did it seem like they skimped on the special effects?  Giant machines with a long stride could just walk anywhere they wanted and certainly a lot faster than turning into a vehicle and driving.  The cast was top notch but it could have been done better.

This is really a great movie for the year. I watched 2 x times at cinema and 1 time with my home projector.
I hope Transformers 2 will be come out soon.

I always like such movies but haven't seen it yet. It is not being released world over (I think). I shall try to find some copy of this movie. Thanks for your comments because comments always help us to make things better.

OMG i loved this film sooooooo much! I thought it was excellent the effects were amazing and Shia Labeouf was fantastic he has come so far as an actor since Even Stevens on Disney! I loved the fact that they got the guy who originally did the voice for Optimus Prime in the cartoon series to do the movie as well!!!

Although these are just fantasies but I am afraid that one day our world would be under attack by giant machines and that would be due to some human error. Scientists and engineers are working extensively on artificial intelligence and that will cause a big disaster.
