i think we can trust as most of them you chose to let them see your info so it's up to who let to that so it up to you how much trust you want to give when it come's to the network

I trust some of them.  Myspace has proven to be secure enough.  But I don't trust Orkut due to my personal experience with it and also because it was once hacked which is pretty scary but thank goodness I had already cancelled my account at the time.

I told anyone to not submit their real informations in any site coz i didn't think than any site will have such a great feature to secure our personal informations . Externally it seems to be secure but it doesn't..........

These social networking websites are big companies. So trusting is not a big issue. Only thing I hate about Myspace is how people can hack into your account and send bulletin to promote their websites. It happened with my friend and it took myspace around 1 month to do something about it.

If these are not secure then we also don't give the right or very personal data so I think there is nothing wrong to advertise ourselves through these sites. I think all of them have some standards which are almost the same.

In my opinion we can not completely trust on these sites. There is always a chance of misuse and leakage.Any way myspace is one of the sites where we can have trust.I am impress by myspace.

IMO there is nothing wrong to do so because we are not going to give something very personal like CC or Bank accounts. Social Bookmarking sites like Myspace are good way of communication and we should not ignore then due to such issue.

Nope really we can not trust these social networking sites . Last day I was reading news on bbc that facebook is facing questions of privacy . It is very hard to trust that these sites will keep the privacy of the members .

These social networking sites are really doing wonderful job . You can have a lot of friends on international level . Where as the matter of trusting these sites ,its problematic . Few days back I read a news online that facebook was having privacy questions . No I will not recommend to have complete trust on these sites .
